Where the prices come from
Every price is Microsoft’s public list price for the United Kingdom in pounds sterling, excl. VAT, read from Microsoft’s own UK pages. A licence without a public UK price shows why, never an estimate. Partner and CSP price lists are never used.

How often the data is checked
Licence prices are re-read every 14 days; a price not re-read for 90 days is flagged as stale where it is shown, never hidden.
Microsoft’s licence list is checked every 30 days and the IT partner listings every 30 days. The data freshness page shows every dataset and how old it can be at most.

The directory lists UK IT partners that sell Microsoft licences and meet the same published criteria, each checked from public sources such as Microsoft’s partner directory and the company’s own website. ClearSource does not rate, score or rank IT partners: the directory is in alphabetical order by default.
Who writes the content
ClearSource is the author and publisher of every page; no individual is named. Facts come only from Microsoft’s published pages and documents, company registers and the IT partners’ own websites, each with its source and date.
